I have only had good experiences with iPower`s domain registration. They were quick helped me get going and the price was good and there were no problems with billing with each of my 6 domains. (I wonder if the last guy tried to transfer his domains before the allowed transfer date, i know all registrars have to wait a specified time before allowing transfers.) THEY BILLED ME; I PAID THEM IMMEDIATELY; THEY ARE STILL HOLDING MONIES FOR TRANSFERING EIGHT (8) DOMAIN NAMES, WHICH THEY SAY THEY CANNOT TRANSFER BECAUSE OF TIME LIMITATIONS! TWO WEEKS BEFORE EXPIRATION THEY WERE PAID! THEY STILL HAVE MY MONEY, A MONTH LATER! IHAVE REQUESTED NUMEROUS TIMES FOR REFUND! THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING BUT TAKE THE MONEY! AND THEY`RE STILL RUNNING! Do not register with iPower if you live outside the U.S. unless you enjoy being treated like a criminal! After being drawn in by their low prices, I learned that they do not want your business if you aren`t American. In my case, my registration was put on hold simply because I am from Hong Kong. They demanded that I fax them a copy of the front and back of my credit card. They then took four days to respond to my e-mail inquiry about this insulting and suspicious practice and their answer was nothing more than a re-statement of their rude demand! My credit worthiness has never been questioned in any e-transaction before or since this awful experience. In the end, I signed up with Yahoo! Domains for less money ($4.98/yr!), better service and with absolutely no hassle. Thanks iPower! Tried to get customer service with the 24 hot line and received a recording to leave my name and number twice - did that and they never returned my calls. Tried to get email support for same issue and received only canned responses that they would get to me. Waited for 30 minutes on the chat support that never came. I have been trying to get my money refunded for a month now which according to their 30 day guarantee should be no problem. I have spent over an hour total on hold talking to 3 different people and still no refund!!!!!!! The only thing they did quickly was take my money! iPower Review Submit Review of iPower |
