Registrar Name: Domain People Reviewer Name: Lipa Roth Rating: (1 worst - 5 best) 5 Comments: Over the past 6 or 7 years, Domain People have consistently had real people answering phone calls and have helped deal with problems related to 5 domain names. I have worked with other registrars and keep returning and moving domains to Domain People. They are unreachable over the weekend, and didn`tt reply to any of my six sent emails. I finally got a reply to my specific request after two phone calls a week later. They refuse to give me Auth code to change my domain registrar. They refuse to address my million emails. Stay clear! Registrar Name: Domain People Reviewer Name: morgyn Rating: (1 worst - 5 best) 1 Comments: I have been dealing with this company for over five years (unfortunately) as an IT service provider as some of my clients have signed up with them for domain/DNS hosting. These guys manage to screw up EVERYTHING you let them have their hands on, consistently! Their control panel breaks nearly every time I make changes to client accounts... leading to calls to their technical support line where I usually have to fight with multiple techs in Asia to convince them the problem is on their end. The techs and customer service agents there won't even attempt to address your issues most of the time because it seems their primary goal is to see how quickly they can get you off the line. Today, they did not automatically renew one of my client's domains, even though they were paid to do so (they even OVERCHARGED for it!). This client is a shipping company and relies on the prompt delivery of emails to and from their domain - they're out of business for the next 48 hours while they pay Netnation's 'extortion' fee of $125 for renewing their domain 'late' and waiting for the domain redemption to finalize. If you sign up with these guys you WILL regret it. Stay away from Netnation/Domain People at all costs! Domain People Review Submit Review of Domain People |
